Perhaps you've been a stranger to the R&S threads over the years? The bible is constantly referred to as rubbish, nonsense and fairy tales. We have had recent wishes that the Pope dies in loneliness and pain. I could quote much more.

One mention of pork scratchings, quite funny in context, and it was removed, presumably (no reason has been given) because it might offend some hypothetical Pakistani Islamist .

The comments about the pope were distasteful but made because he is head of a religious organisation and weren't a rubbishing of Christianity.

Why not then put up a similar post about the koran and the ayatollah to test how even-handed this site is? 

 I suppose I could do that, but I'm not childish enough, & anyway it wouldn't reflect my true feelings.
