Very clever that ad Vinny btw, hope Jude's meals on wheels doesn't do the same, her dad'll report her to social services.
Oh lovely to see you there Dolly - glad you're ok & that you've enjoyed your time with your brother, I expect you'll miss him when he goes home. Don't worry about not swimming - I don't either but how could we be afraid with our resident hero, Vinny, to take care of us
erm, well.....
I'm sure I had something really interesting to say....there's a first..... but the phone rang & put me off
erm,.............. thinking,....................
nope, it's gone, so I'll post a pic of the garden this morning....it's not very sharp, I'm a bit shaky from trying to comb out me beehive & clean off the slap from last night.....
Well Shaney the snooker's a bit of a shambles at the mo. Probably get going tonight.I really want Ebdon to win but we shall see, a long way to go yet. Well done on the weight loss btw.
Funny int it Robinia how chimney has always been pronounced funny round here. And it sounds so comical coming from kids. Imagine....a turkey on your chimly.
Come on Neti get well soon.
And Vinny yes you sussed me I am a lazy so and so. I only do what's necessary whenever it's necessary but when I do it, I do it well........:o)
hi neti - so sorry you're still poorly. If you can get something called Thomson's Slippery Elm food over there that'll sort your tum out...you use it to make a smooth hot drink with milk.
I don't do the hardest work anymore, more's the pity. I get a man in to mow, cut the hedges & do any heavy pruning.....wish I'd got into gardening when I was young.
haha shaney, one man & his wife actually. They come in with 2 petrol mowers & it's all done in about 20 to 25 mins! It was taking me anything from 1 to 2 hrs - no grassbox on my flymo so I had to rake up the clippings, clean the mower, wind up the cables etc & then spend 3 days getting over it. I tried doing it a bit each day, but I was never finished so I waved me white flag.
Got to be up at the crack of dawn to put the bins out :o(
Evening all...poor netti..yes that slippery elm is good..taste's like porridge...they use to feed the troops on it.you know....Brown bins...we've got green one's..na na na na na...hang on me screens gone all funny...
um...shaney I put yer note on me chimanea.(did you mean chimney..oops)..and it went up in smoke...um I feel a dance coming on...(:-)
come on you girls...get with it...!!
grrrr.....that was the 4th try
lol, wish charlie could mow Vinny - he won't even fetch me slippers....wonder why?
btw what mower do you have now shaney?
it was a toss up between buying a new mower or paying someone else to mow. Fortunately they're very reasonable if you have them regularly, but they might decide to give it up one day....my sons are very good but not great gardeners. One can't keep up with his own & t'other only has a courtyard.
