May I apologise if I have stood upon my soap box too often recently.

It has been a hectic time since Christmas both at work and personally. I find that rants on AB tend to calm my inner self. Though of course i am a very calm person in general.

So if I have be profain or offensive in any way shape or form I accept at times I should shut up.

I stick by my views but will be more open minded in the future.

I've had my share of whooshing but I just laugh now.Had I been an earth mother perhaps my son would not now be doing his dissertation for his Honours Degree at the age of 20 at HW - he would be studying for his Phd:)

smudge - I think we basically sing from the same song sheet.If a kid understands that remark then I would be concerned as someone must have explained it to them.They absolutely cannot read that remark and understand it.

Drisgirl - I think we do basically sing from the same song sheet, (I like that expression), however, as I've already said, I do understand W-M's feelings, but that particular post was a bit strong & even if kids weren't able to decipher a couple of the words, the rest spoke for themselves.

No hard feelings - life goes on.....

Hi again W-M - easily done, apology accepted! My brother had a mate called Smudge when he was in the Army too.

Glad you got to re-read those words - bit strong eh? Having said that, I'm sure we're all capable of saying or doing things we might later regret - unless of course you are absolutely PERFECT!
