Morning all biddies. It is a lovely day here. You lot would call it summer. Daughter has gone off to a big bar-b-q, we are going for a ride round the island and then luch. Don't think there'll be a need of a log fire when we return. Anyone seen Nanny MacPhee? am going to watch it in my bed this afternoon. Lovely dya.

Good Morning Neti, Robinia. Will winter ever go away? I'm fed up with it. Still it's better than the alternative!

Got in about 1 this am but no alarm to set so had a good sleep. Saw a band last night who played very very loud. Too much, even for us would you believe, but not a bad night.

Just a normal Sunday again. Roast beef for Dad and me, then speak to my sons one way or another. Might watch Midsomer Murders tonight, I'm partial to a bit of a detective story, that is if I don't get an invitation to go out somewhere. :o)

in the paper this morning they got the curator at Kew to explain why the spring flowers were so late. He said it was because it was still cold. Bet biddies hadn't thought of that!
