What does this actually mean? Do we pay for it? how does it work? I am still not getting notified by email when I have an answer so I have to scroll through 'all answered' PLEASE HELP.

subscribing to a question should mean that you get emails whenever an answer is posted, even though it's not your own question. (No cost.) Not working for you, presumably. Try contacting AB via the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page (but there's nobody there at the weekend so you won't get an anwer till Monday).

I get the emails but not the notification that they have arrived, apparently ED told me it was a conflict of URL thingies, or something technical, that was before Christmas.
