I suggested on an earlier thread that problems with using this site - particularly posting - had only arisen since the large animated Sky adverts appeared below the side panel on the left. I found my virtual memory getting gobbled up at an enormous rate and presumably AB's server was as well.

Tonight, those adverts have disappeared and so have all the problems :-)

Or is that just a coincidence?

Same happened to me too, dunno the answer about the advert though.
