Thread Removal

Can I suggest that AB raises the amount of reports that it takes to remove a thread? I know that there are people on here who have multiple IDs and we seem to have narrow-minded members who patrol the corridors of AB as self-appointed moral guardians. I think that reporting of a thread by three people (or one with multiple IDs) is hardly a true reflection of general opinion. If a thread is truly offensive then you would get many more than three reports on it. Three reports seems hardly fair to me unless it's for an imposter. So come on Mrs ABEd can't the number be raised a bit more to stop do-gooders spoiling things for everyone?

People just don't like me so remove any thread that I ask even if it is completely harmless.I don't care though I still got LOADS of answers which they hate and was still able to read all my answers.

Octoovius i do agree with the majority of what you say, but without being argumentative as I don't want to be patronised or treated as a lame brain, the topic does say Body and Soul, and the Soul bit to me means relationships, either current, past or future. I don't post stuff on there mush and when I do it tends to be about the coping of life in general, I agree there is some awful stuff going on here and it takes an effort to read it sometimes, that I don't appreciate but the pathetic stuff should be separated from the genuine questions asking how to talk to a new bloke, how to find a man worth finding etc. In that respect I suppose some people do consider it a kind of lonely hearts club, but if that is how their particular soul reads the rules then what can you do? (I have had another lie in too and I feel a lot better today!)

I didn't even see the question in question and therefore did not report it but really do we NEED to discuss genitalia on here (female or male and human or animal ).It is a bit like a lot of schoolkids tittering about sex behind the toilets .

Dolly the original question was worded in a very leering way i think, the thread then put up to replace it was over 200 posts long and was quite explicit. On this thread i have tried to discuss the issue in a clear way and it seems to me it is and always was an inappropriate question.

this place is called the ANSWER bank meaning its a place to answer questions...no matter how silly. loppy's question was not worded in a leering way...no more leering than mrs harris's saggy breasts yet those threads are never reported or removed. john lambert's thread about the exact same subject was left un-reported and maybe you will find of the 200 replies i received a lot of them were yours dot....not in reference to the question but on bobtheturkeys obsession with the aforementioned married lady. go figure!

I agree that relationship advice is fine, in fact I have often responded in times where I think that someone is concerned about their relationship or finding a new person, or just curious about life in general etc.

I have no idea what thread the original Q by Aprilis was, so I cannot comment on that specifically. I don't wish to 'pick on' anyone specific but my previous response refers to Q's such as the present 'for bob' question in B&S.
