Just read this thread & BOO's picture really made me laugh - so thanks for that!
Only last night, all the lights upstairs blew & I was fumbling about in the dark for over an hour, banged my toe on the bed castor & expressed a few expletives. A little later on our Granddaughter said "Are you still grumpy Nanny?". I burst out laughing, as thankfully, she doesn't often see me like that!
I like to think the same applies on AB! ;o]
Ranting and raving? New research demonstrates that older people have greater control over their emotions than young ones - "accumulated life experience and the motivation for meaning over acquisition in older age contribute to plasticity of medial prefrontal systems, achieving a greater selective control over emotional functions".
