I am really not computer orientated,i dont understand all these,hold down and press this number thingys that you're talking about,can someone please tell me in very basic step by step instructions,,,,,pleaaaasssseeeee!!!!!

hi kipchik, i just told how to do the smilies easily on a different thread before I saw this one.

Go to start on your pc, then all programmes, then accessories, then system tools then open the character map. I think it only works if the font you choose is arial (but i may be wrong about that) Theres lots of symbols and stuff to choose from, just pick one, then copy and paste it into your answer
