Hi ED, I've noticed lately that alot of AB users are having real problems posting questions. We had the same problem some months ago when long threads where allowed to go on. I've no problem with long threads, but if they disrupt the site why do you allow them. When I say long threads, I don't mean 100 posts, I'm talking about 1,300...surely this make the site unstable. Also it's not fair on the new users, they legitimately want to post on this site and can't. Oh I'm prob gonna get a tounge lashing now...I don't care though......it's unfair.

it does go on abit, but as I said, some of the stuff is quite revealing and explains alot.

perhaps that post was responsbile for the trouble other people had posting long answers, I don't understand these techie things, not being able to handle a screwdriver. But if so then maybe all threads should close automatically at 500 (roughly the length at which the biddies decamp); surely the robots could manage that?
