If someone posts a genuine question whereby they are genuinely in need of advice about something that is upsetting to them for what ever reason they either get attacked or the post ends up with about 3 replies. If however someone posts a pile of nonsense it ends up with 60-70-80 replies, surely that cannot be right? x x x
I have an annoying habit of sweeping some categories and any questions that have no answers I try to make an effort to find something, if the question has gone several hours or more with no response.
Ironic that your Q, having been answered, urged you to ask of the poster's welfare. This is how many Q's begin, and hey presto! we now have a chat, which may continue with other ABers joining in.
Please take this in a light hearted way, I do not mean any malice by it.
lol @ owzat, hiya how are you this evening? i am sure nursecarla was only being polite, and inquisitive, as are you yourself, it must be human nature lol
I dont mind a bit of chat whiffey, its just some people get totally blanked when they need some advice simply because the whole site seems to scurry off to a post that contains utter drivel xxxxx
I think that if you look at the replies to a genuine question, then you will in most cases see that the question has received 3 quality answers that hopefully answer the question. If you see a thread that has 100 replies, you can almost guarantee that as you say it is a pile of nonsense best avoided.
No, it isn't, carla, but I'd avoid a post with so many replies as they have usually been hijacked by the immature individuals of the primate (humans excluded) variety. Waste of time clicking on.
