So depending on the email provider our links in emails are read, formatted and highlighted differently. For some they work like they should while for others they do not. You may click on the link and an extra bracket is inserted - the brackets are displayed so Abers know when the URL starts and where it ends. We may fully address this situation in the future by making our emails .html. We'll make an announcement when appropriate - in the meantime, thank you for your patience!
