Banned questions about Impostors

I have had five of ma last seven questions in Suggestions Banned. Four of those Banned were about Impostors. Is that just co-incidence or are we not allowed to discuss the matter in public?

the other BOO. posted earlier and said (on here) that he (she?) had done the name as a stand against impostors. Why they chose my name, I've no idea, I asked em but the question didn't last 5 minutes- lol. Don't think they being malicious towards me though, so I'm not gonna kick up a fuss about it.

buenchico It appears to me that all TCL is doing is asking the Ed whether we are allowed to ask questions on the recent glut of impostors or not. Seems a reasonable enough question to me?

On Monday, Miss Ed wrote �� I would like to encourage you to use this category only for AB suggestions.� Which seems to be different fae ABE's declaration.

The Impostors situation has been dragging on and on and there appears to be no resolution to it. I am drawing it to others' attention when I spot it and what happens is I get ma post pulled. There seems to be something wrong somewhere.

I think that the dear old site has been in trouble for a while now with imposters and trolls, marlboro junkies and suchlike. The old Ed didn't want to address it, and nearly banned me when I pointed out the problems of it on here, and the new Ed is exactly that. New. It's hard to judge whether they just want things out of the limelight whilst they deal with them, or if like our dearly departed American Ed, this one doesn't give a stuff either and just ants to gag those of us that do.

I don`t think they care too much about imposters, the old ed didn`t really do too much to about it and I can`t see the new one bothering too much either, they`re only worried about thier sodding suggestions topic being filled with the wrong questions

Evening nox I'm getting a wee bit fed up wi mentions of Impostors being pulled and I'm beginning to wonder whether there's any point in contributing to this Suggestions Topic.

I think they would rather I ignore it or e-mail them directly yet it's been said before it takes time to get replies so either way I'm stymied.

i am new to the site though have browsed many times previously and have seen the ongoing discussions about imposters
apart from that i have also noticed that a few users seem to use several aliases-seemingly to provoke argument or make chat-which i recently felt compelled to bring to the editors attention

Without wishing to sound rude, and please don't take this the wrong way........but.......... if you're new how do you know who's alias is whose?
I've been here 18 months and unless someone point blank tells me that so and so is definately an alias I never know.

I've only been here since beginning of June, and only know of peeps with more than one username, when they have declared it...quite often it is because there has been a glitch or a temporary ban, that they find the need to have an additional name...

a wise user studies the form before beginning to post, and some who don't immediately attract criticism for not doing so. Seem a bit harsh to criticise nickmac because he/she has done so.

According to the previous editor's warning, it's not just TCL's post that may be banned, but TCL himself; on the other hand, he may be only potentially banned, which is perhaps less painful.

I should add that I too had two additional usernames because of malicious reporting (unfounded)...and even kept them for a while, just in case I needed to use them...everyone on here knew my other names, it was common knowledge...getting my original name back, I have since de-registered them...
