Fewer browsers, fewer answers

Has anyone else noticed than since the 'change' if you post a question you don't get so many answers? I have posted two questions recently that have had no answers whatsoever! This never used to happen, there were always several answers to any question.

i think this is another reason to go back to the old system.
People are just not browsing the different categories any more.

Probably due to the fact that half the people can't be bothered to trawl through all these catagories ...

I'm still trying to work out what the question is in the one and only post in the "Phrases & Sayings / Quotations" sub-category!

As I have said before, I think that all the sub-categories should be done away with and a few more main topics introduced.

yep I totally agree thats why you're better off ignoring the sub sections and putting them in main one, as I myself cant be bothered to look in every sub section.

After giving the new system time & the benefit of the doubt, I agree with you lankeela & all the other Ab'ers who find it more time consuming!

I no longer browse, I only go to the one section that I have a real interest in (Animals and Nature) and visit other categories if I have a question to ask. I used to spend hours (literally) going from one category to another and back again, but as there are hardly any changes from one day to the next there is no point any longer.

Every one of these replies express the feelings of us all and I certainly do not browse as I did before. The problem as well is that the sub sections do not convey the items correctly, and after all the submissions are too diverse to be named.
