Yes they are yellow, well mustard coloured, they may be a goos idea, but are they being inputted retrospectively? If we scroll back are these now appearing in their multitudes and creatinga rainbow effect along the way. Is the ed's box still gonna be pink? Can we have a nominated colour for when it is ouyr birthday? (that was not a serious suggestion) oh, yes it was.
pink? Lordy. Well, I am a bit colour-blind, but what I'm getting is a member of the orange/yellow family, similar to the colour around this Type Your Answer Here panel as I write. Nothing remotely like Editorial Pink, which is nearer the crimson end of the spectrum.
omg you are right, drestie... I've only just noticed that they do actually appear in what is to me a very pale salmon-pink panel. All I'd seen before was the words 'Question Author', in yellowish; the whole panel doesn't become noticeable on my screen unless I stand to one side a bit. Sorry about that... I did say I was colourblind, and I meant it.
Question background: burnt sienna
Post answer bkgrd: light sand
Author box and sub Q/report Q/Post answer in soft pink
Topics/Welcome back/Title above Q pillar box red
topic cats: grey/blue and highlighted in golden orange
names in boring grey, unless like ummmm1, your green LOL
well I just happened to have my Dulux shade card handy, as you do, & it would appear to be Apricot White.....
still what my son classes as beige tho'....
It depends on which version of Windows you are on. In XP you will see yellow, whereas in Windows 98 it will appear pink. In Win 2000 you won't get a box at all, just mustard-yellow text.
Unfortunately ummmmmmmmmmm it's quite difficult. The download you need is called winxpcolors.zip, but the dangerous bit is that you have first to uninstall your current colours (from control panel - and temporarily rendering your pc black and white), and also all your fonts, which means you lose all the letters. Then you have to manipulate the zip by mouse alone, and sometimes the zip is corrupt, in which case you are stuck with black and white internet without any letters.
I think that when someone mentioned the background colour for 'Question Author', it freaked a few people out because they were seeing a different colour to that mentioned and thought something was wrong with their eyesight!! This then sparked a general discussion as to the hues we all were getting on our computers.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, BB ours is coming to the end,,,,,,,,,
