You stand by what you said .... don't you?
You quoted the key words above yourself .... just didn't put them in context? May be Miss Ed will not like that?
I am sure Miss Ed is a reasonable enough person to let ABers take a view on what you said about them?
I was surprised that you haven't been banned ....
Well there are a lot of us on Q&P that do the same puzzles every week ..so for example if someone asks for the answer to 4d in the Telegraph GK without giving the full clue someone is bound to know because a lot of us do that particular crossword .We are not so braindead that we cannot recognise the name of the newsaper ,mag etc and give an answer .Failing that you only have to ask for the clue which I have often done but in the meantime someone pops up with the answer anyway.
Cryptics are different because you do need the full clue anyway to work out a definition as well as an answer and I agree that in that case no clue is annoying.
You say you enjoy Q&P but I never see you answer anyone clue or no clue .So my point still stands if don't join in then don't complain. We are a happy band and get along well together and quite frankly we can do without moaning minnies.

..... and as you can see, us "puzzlers" can spot which particular crossword/puzzle the clue or question belongs to ! so we can't be that braindead can we ?
