PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU HAVE REMOVED THIS POST OF MINE.

Can you please tell me why a very sensible unbiased post made by nox has vanished and my perfectly sensible unbiased reply has vanished with it?

I keep seeing good posts and replies vanish because of the small minority ruining them. I am sure if you are experienced in running a forum and computer literate that you will know it is very easy to remove some offensive replies but leave the sensible content alone - not punish the sensible posters by removing their posts!

Now Ed - I broke no rules in my post and I am asking you if I am wasting my time in bothering to contribute an answer on any topic at all just in case it gets removed simply because some member has decided to join in and ruin a thread so the whole lot promptly vanishes?

I suggest you bring your rules concerning deletion/removal/editing in line with all other forums worldwide - they do not remove good questions and sensible posts simply because of some content by a few. I run forums - I run websites - I know what is possible. If you are going to continue with this easy option and therefore waste my time then I will not be alone in going elsewhere where editing is done in a fair and responsible manner. why dont you just email the ed like the last post tells you to do and i'm sure you will get an answer, rather than filling the site moaning about the fact you cant see a post which obviously caused a problem!!!!!

Have you read the rules (note the last sentence in partic!)Posts will be removed if they include any comments that go against the Site Rules. Posts that are unintentionally duplicated will also be removed. If you have replied to a question or continued a conversation whose posts have been removed, yours may be removed also for continuity reasons. Please note, due to the high volume of posts, the AnswerBank Editor cannot reply to individual queries regarding this issue. So I'm guessing this applies to you as well.
