Homophobia?

I have just updated my profile and checked on the 'pay for my views' box, completed the address, contact and relationship status. I am not married, single, divorced or widowed or seperated...I live with my partner. Where is THIS option?!

why do you imagine it's got anything to do with homophobia? Opposite-sex couples have exactly the same trouble and seem to cope. Tell yourself that if you're not married you're single.

I live with my partner too. I'm female and he is male so it applies to me. Are they being hetrosexualphobic?

I don't think it is homophobic of course, but maybe in this day and age there should be 'in a relationship' or 'living with partner'. Or on the other hand one could also ask why does anyone want to know unless you are registering with an adoption agency or something!

Why is seperated always different to divorced? By using that term, it sounds like there is an apportioning of blame there. Why tell anyone you are seperated? It is in between married and divorced, they don't say engaged or married do they? It is just to put us all in little statistical categories. Someone who filled it in as married last month could be seperated this month and divorced next month, and even married again the month after, and so i think if u are divorced, you are single, cos if u marry again you have to be single.

Sorry, I am the least 'gay rights' person you can meet...didn't mean it to sound all queer and persecuted...just annoyed me a bit, thats all. Homophobia was the first word that came into my head last thing on a Friday night when I should have been doing other things...like drunkenly leering at women in a pub somewhere, moaning about the wife not doing my dinner or something equally heterosexual (sorry, couldn't resist...!)
