Would it be possible for Answerbank to have 2 forms of answers? one being comments the other being actual answers to questions. So often you think a question has been answered because it says underneath the question one answer and all it is is someone saying "thats a good question" or "Sorry I don't know that one".

I don't think it could be called a 'great' question- it has it's merits. I don't know if it would win a 'great question' contest though.

The AB funds would more than cover it. They must be making a good profit from the advertisers on here, or AB would be no more, and you'd be watching telly.

they're not that profitable - just enough to pay for a quiet room in the monastery where the Ed works and milk the yaks, and a bit left over for fondant fancies for respected contributors. Apart from that, they're always holding the hat out at the AB summer fetes.
