Does anyone have any comments of the recent TV phone in scam which has been uncovered? If you do and would like your opinion to be considered to go in this weeks newsletter please post your comments here
What I dont understand is why this is a recent thing. Surely people must have realised some time ago that these were all a scam, as if anyone voting for something like X-Factor or Big Brother really has a say in who stays or goes! Or finding out that you havent been selected for studio put through costs you x amount per time?
Hasnt it been an obvious con for a while now?
And no, Jim never Fixed it for me either, the swizzler.
As you're all aware I took over from the previous Editor although there was a slight gap in between her departure and my arrival plus we were working on a new design. There will be a weekly newsletter from now on
It doesn't clear up the Jim'll Fix It scam. Those hundreds of letters I sent cost me (well my parents) a fortune in 2nd class stamps. And what did I get? Nuffink.
obviously the BBCs budget didnt stretch that far Octavius. I bet now that they are getting all this money from premium phone lines they can afford it. I suggest you write and ask them again
I did notice a presenter saying calls will only cost........ 10 pence....... This Morning tv programme possibly lol....
These companies ( TV execs ) and their shows knew full well they were 'on the make'
I loved the *max 150 calls* tab that flashed up.... clue? it's going to take 150 calls to maybe get through.... at a cost.... should anyone have any common sense of 112.50......
and they caried on calling......
who theyare? imo? are people susceptible to suggestion.... ergo.... easy money.
