I see there is a registration page on the new Sports Answerbank but the instructions are obscured by all the sports sections on the LHS.
" The Sports AnswerBank has been around since 2002 and with hundreds of thousands of questions logged, you can be sure we've got it covered. To search our database of questions, enter your search criteria in our "search the site" box" Since 2002? Really?
I tried the search facility using "Grand National" and nothing came up, I used other terms and again nothing came up. It doesn't work.
Click on Football Trivia in the "Current questions" on Answerbank and it takes you to the old section, click on some others and it goes to the new site.
Click on "What's Motor Sport Racing" and it takes you to "The page you asked for could not be found" but under the answerbank banner.
"Ask questions about your favorite team, how to get into shape for your Saturday morning football matches, how fast the last Olympic Gold Medalist ran the 100 meters, or anything else you can think of!"
Why has American spelling been used?
I tried to use the "Contact Us" on the new section and you can't see all of what has been typed in.
There has been no announcement (that I have seen) of the change, did anyone ask for it?
another one of your sarcastic moans .... but, looking back over the last few months to the appointment of the ncurrent Ed - seems all you can post these days ....
why not move on if you cannot offer critical comment in a helpful way?
Just came in here to ask what was going on in the Sport section...but see you've beat me to it TLC! Thought at first I had accidentally clicked on a link for something else...seems like a lot of faffing about to me! Thank heavens I don't go there often!
