This thread was reported, removed and then reinstated. Fair enough but 'ne2' posted what she thinks is 'Joe_the_Lion aka 'Wardy' address. Now the report option is gone so we can't even report that one answer!!!

If that is his real address and some nutter does something to him would the AB Ed or Answerbank as a whole not feel responsible????

Dunno whether its my ever advancing middle age or what ummmm, but I seem to be getting less tolerant as I get older. A few years ago I'd have laughed myself silly over posts like that, but lately I seem to have developed a snobbier attitude and I just find posts like that pathetic and embarrassing and really shows lack of class ;-)

I think the Admin on here need to sort themselves out allowing abuse of fellow ABers, selectively deleting parts of threads, not banning people who are quite clearly deserving of it. This doesn't happen on other sites.

You shouldn't tolerate this kind of behaviour and stop sitting on the fence Ed. Its almost as if you are inciting hatred amongst people on here - very disturbing.

Athley - I agree completely but sadly, it appears that it is not (yet) possible to ban someone permanently from the site. I have had an e-mail saying that AB are in the process of developing ways to permanently ban abusive users. At the moment though, anyone who is banned can simply re-register.

There is also the problem of what one person finds offensive another doesn't. How one person reacts to abuse can be completely different to another...and so on...

Personally.....I am not at all bothered by her threat to cut my throat. Being called scum goes straight over my head as well.
