this beta word keeps getting thrown into conversation's so my Question is....................... what is BETA?

so basically it is like they have tried it out and sorted a few problems, but to actually use it full blown, they have to actually run it in, like a new car used to be, when you could only do 40 miles an hour for the first so many thousand miles, is that it? Do they do still do that with new cars?

In ancient times, these new concepts or products were called 'trial versions'. Using the word 'beta' makes one sound so much more knowledgeable and trendy don't you think?

oh i see...i had no idea either, but now its clear, the sab is just a trial for how the rest of ab will be....

since new features are being added, it sounds like the sports section is still in alpha to me, but what do I know?
