Don't know jeanette, this happened me last year, they just stopped for some reason then after about 3 months they started again, I did as the Ed at the time but got no reply, surprise, surprise.

Yeah, and I don't like the new lay out when you ask a question and it shows you all the questions which have already been asked.. the format is more confusing, to me anyway.
I have the same problem. I have never received a single email notification regarding subscribed threads. I have only ever asked one question here on AB, but have posted over one hundred in an attempt to help others, mostly in the technology section (and occasionally quizzes & puzzles). I think people think i am ignoring them when I don't respond promptly, but it is a nightmare keeping up with the various threads manually.

I am actually in dialogue (by email) with tech support regarding this issue. In fact I have been for several weeks, still without resolution. Initially, they suggested I was not subscribing to the threads, then that I was unsubscribing, the latest is that my email provider (googlemail) is blocking them. Whilst this may be possible, I get the emails from tech support fine, which I assume is from the same domain (theanswerbank).

So, I have changed my email address to another I have and we'll see, but I have already subscribed to various threads this morning, to which there have been subsequent replies and I have had no email, so it is looking grim.....:(
In fact I hope you reply to this, and I feel sure I will not get a notification :)

I will then suggest creating a dummy thread (or using this one), and changing my email to that of one of the tech support guys, encouraging both themselves and myself to post and hopefully they can see the problem for themselves!
Hmmm, i get emails for all mine. Sometimes i get hundreds...
what about ging to "threads i'm involved in" that will tell you what has been answered
Well MrBen5, I get none :(

It would be nice if WE could do some investigating ourselves, such as swapping our email address within our profile, or possibly you simply borrowing my email address for a short while, then subscribe to a few threads, I can trigger some activity on said thread, and if all is well, I will get notifications when there has been activity on threads you have subscribed to. Or is that just so complicated?

Of course I am suggesting this purely from a selfish perspective as I am not getting anywhere with tech support. And this suggestion of mine may contravene forum rules, but it should be fine as we would be helping the community :)
