Couldn't the wording be toned down a bit please ? "Banned" has a terrible judicial ring to it, a sense of oh you naughty boy. Couldn't you just say, this answer has been hidden in the interests of the site's vision.
I think, that for the ed to have removed and banned as many threads and replies as she (he) has, there is someone reporting stuff as chat and then drawing it to the eds attention, what do you think Horacio?
I already asked for an indication of why something is banned - e.g. just a selection from a list -
Innapropriate language
chat
wrong section
double posted
etc.
But I got no response.
I think that some people have a bee in their bonnet, but to me if they are not interested then just stay away from those threads - I agree that there are some things that need to be brought to the attention of the Ed - e.g. threats or bad language etc. but for the rest, it is self policing - if people don't respond then people wont keep posting the same stuff.
Methinks that there are some that are like the sneaks at school that report stuff to the teacher to suck up. What is the point?
