I do wish we could copy or quote from here.....

Without having to send the whole blumin page when someone posts up whatever may be of interest to that reader.
I am aware that enigma has asked some time last year for a quote button for on here.
Now, I think I read somewhere that once an answer/or writing is placed with Answerbank, that Answerbank owns the rights.
Is that why we cant copy straight from these pages? if we wanted to send it to an outside audience.....
Hope that makes sense lol..... B. xxx

Hi Beryl- hope you're well :-)
It is possible to cut and paste from the Old AB. I'm not sure if there's an easier way but this is how I do it.
1- Left click 3 times at end of whatever it is you want copying, and it will highlight blue.
2- press ctrl c on your keyboard.
3- Then all you need to do is ctrl v in your answer box.
If you need to tweak whatever it is you've copied, i find that the easiest way is to dump the text into notepad 1st, tweak, then copy that into AB.
Did any of that make sense?

lol... ok got the clicking.... thanks to B00.
Thanks TCL for the pointers.
This site is remarkably similar to another site I use, but that was founded 1996. So that must be where I saw the ownership of the writing. But that site pays. It's American btw.
Now, what I was asking for on here was a Quote button.
Not terribly technical either.
Thanks for the re-iterations lol
Joko.... hope your colleague is feeling well. :-) xxx

ruby, your computer probably has Internet Explorer as a browser - approximately 1,300% of all computers do, thanks to the power of Bill Gates. It's just the software that enables you to browse the internet. But you can always install Firefox as an alternative; it's free and many people swear by it (I haven't got it myself). There are also others available. Find it here:
