I've just received an AB notification email, so opened it up to find that not only does it date back to 2005 - there are no recent posts on it.

How could this be Ed?

Just got in from a lovely afternoon out & low & behold, yet more AB notification emails to delete - with the greatest of pleasure.......

Must dash to eat my dinner - have fun all. ;o}

Yes ....you have fun too Smudge .....pop off and do enjoy your dinner .. ..what are having ....Toad in the Hole ?

No SS - I'm not into sausage & holes aren't very filling!

Anyway - getting back to my question to the AB ED & that I've only just had time to read thro' some of the latest posts on here.....

Sorry to disappoint, but I don't think anyone purposely hunts around trying to find old biddy threads - why ever would they want to (unless they've lost their way of course).

As I've said before, the only time I've been led to any of those particular threads, is on receiving notification emails like this one from the AB Ed today, &/or from other people within it, asking me to join in!

The reason I no longer do, is because it doesn't suit me personally, as I prefer a bit of variety - that's what AB is all about - variety!
But why did Diamond dog search through to 2 years to put a remark on a very old biddythread of mine. Pathetic!

Oh & just for the record....

Just sifting through some emails & this is the notification I received from AB Ed this morning, but when I looked, it didn't have any new posts on it - hope you get it sorted soon:

The following threads have been updated:

Thank you,

AB Editor.
But there was absolutely no reason for Wardy to search until he found that first link, there was nothing to interest him on it: Very weird, as you say.

Our posts just crossed Neti - I have no idea why & to be honest, I didn't even realise he had, as I hadn't even looked.

Bye.
Question Author
Mmmm - just trying to find some air freshener for that bad smell....
Question Author
Some of my words disappeared there!

....that bad smell....that you mentioned earlier Neti!
I want to apologise to D_Dog, I realise now that he didn't go searching out my old postings, just posted on the one linked here. I didn't think I was that interesting for someone to seek me out,< deep sigh> maybe one day !!!!
Question Author
Neti - I thought you'd already realised that D_D would only have posted on that thread via the link on here, to test it out.

As I've already mentioned - when the AB Ed sent me the notification email yesterday morning, I opened it up only to find no new posts on it - so D_D must have posted after that & not gone searching for you or anyone else.

Nice for him to receive an apology - shows great strength in a person.
Oh smudge that'll teach me to get stroppy! Hope you and yours are well - very hot here! ^8^
