The site is only as good as the people who post on it. I remember years ago when it was full of intelligent, interesting posts. Those people have long gone (except for Smudge and occasionally Andy Hughes). Then it became a chat site led by 2 posters who shall remain nameless. Now the chat has died down but the posts are dull- basically I think less people are using it, and the same people post every day, who often have nothing much to ask about! Maybe Ed needs to do some advertising to get some newcomers.

I think that AB has become a bit too much chat.
I have a chatroom, located on my fourm.
Maybe those chatty AB users would be better off chatting on their than on here, so as to free up some space.

I would actually like to be here for chat. However, I do agree that there seem to be certain individuals who ruin everything and just become sarcastic and abusive. There are also people who seem to know each other personally and therefore should use MSN or similar. I know no-one but like the general feel of this site and would like to be pleasant to like minded people!

Pirate, MSN is ok, but it doesn't have the ambience of a small chatroom. Because there are a small amount of people chatting to eachother, you don't feel like you don't no everybody.
it makes you feel a bit more safe.
