Woah! So much hostility on this site? Why?
I have used forums and Q & A sites before but I have never come across so much childishness.
I perhaps shouldn't say this seeign as I am new, but why don't you all just grow up and use the site as it is intended. Ask question (valid questions) and receive answers?
It seems quite simple to me but it appears that there are some children on here that cannot follow the rules.

The Site Rules, about people being abusive to each other. Although why things like that need to be said si beyond me, common sense and courtesy would suffice.

Well, in answer to your question / comment, I think there are a lot of people on AB who are frustrated fishwives and know-it-alls who aren't brave enough to stand up to people face to face, so they come on this site and behave abhorrently to anyone who disagrees with them. I was called a nosey sl@g by someone replying to a post I once made. My husband told me that people like that are very, very insecure because they use this forum to vent some kind of anger. You'll also find that newbies get ignored totally (I did), or abused, so be warned.
Having said that, there are genuine users on here who aren't bored / have murderous tendancies and who genuinely want to get or give answers to genuine questions.

In a question a few down. The childishness I am speaking of is people pretending to be other people, other people accusing someone of being so and so and to be honest the whole lot confused me! I don't know anyone on here yet, but if the childishness carries on then I doubt I will stick around to find out.
What is the problem with my user name. It is a family joke which is in fact a private family joke and although not the most conventional username, I happen to like it. Short of using my real name which I didn't want to do, this was the enxt best thing.

I am not trying to rock the boat, my original question was asking why there was so much bad feeling on here, and as yet no-one has answered me that.
No youa re correct, no-one is forcing me to stay but no-one has given me any incentive to want to stay either.
I am very well liked and respected on other forums and I found this site by chance and thought I would try it out, I am being sarcastic with you so I would appreciate if you could show me the same respect.

It�s a Q&A site, anyone who provides a factual answer can be a know-it-all? And frustrated fishwives make a valuable contribution to the lads and lasses who flock here to seek old fashioned wisdom coupled with experience about love, life and �womens problems�.

Life would be very boring without a bit of silliness!! I do agree that some people on here take it too far and i dont like bad language on here!! If i find it necassary to swear then i think *** are acceptable!!
