What do you do ! as the AB blog has not been updated for weeks , also police the site better , not really a question so will be banned soon !! Await a reply ?

it has been a shambles this weekend, there have lots of stupid attempts by thick eejits to out do each other in impostering regulars, people signing up to the site just to post 'amazingly' in body and soul and start abusing people and making inflammatory commenst to wind people up, then we get others trying to post decent questions and others come along and post garbage thread after gatrbage thread just to get out attention. It's been a farce, who needs it? (watch one of the newbies post now and put some smart arse remark ref ownership of the site, free world, ifyoudon;tlike it etc etc, predictable or what?

Well I don�t go on at weekends either, but I agree with your sentiment. Why is the AB Ed letting this happen? Is the site no longer moderated according to its own rules and terms of use? The Editors modus operandi is questionable to say the least. No blog, no moderation, no rule abiding, no replies and no contribution.

It�s a shame, but mostly, it�s a sham.

What the fcuk is wrong with you people?! The site is run by humans...surely they deserve the weekend off!!! I think you'll find Dorothy that if people hijack threads and post garbage there is pretty much sweet FA the moderators can do about that - surely thats just logical!

As for 'theonlyone' do you think its clever or something to make such sweeping statements in regards to someone career?! Most the people on here are lunatics it must be like trying to control children at playtime

All people seem to do is moan and complain - Question - If people dont like it quite simply why dont you just clear off?

It just frustrates me that people take it upon themselves to make such sweeping statements about people, I assume, they dont even know, plus unless they have someones job spec how do they know what he/she should/shouldn't be doing? I just think its a bit of a cheek but obviously thats my personal opinion I'm expressing, in the same way 'theonlyone' was expressing his/hers

Obviously moderators are not responsible for the actions of users on the site and can only moderate/remove content once it has been posted.

The Editorial Team, where necessary, ban inappropriate users and report exceptionally inappropriate content to the relevant authorities.

AB Ed, perhaps for more contact with you, I�ll post a visiting order. Just seeking some direction on what is permissive and what isn�t. Seemingly the extremes of acceptability have expanded somewhat in my years at Answerbank. The only rule of Answerbank is that we don�t talk about Answerbank huh?

If you are struggling with jno�s link and proposition above, might I suggest you report it to the Pedant Sosseyeyetti of Grate Britan? If not, perhaps remind us as to why you allow such things to remain so that we are all enlightened.

My question was more about the vile language used on the site , and as jno said the thread he put on was disgusting put the person who posted it is still on here .
