PC Tips and Tricks

Could we possibly have a new section in the Technology bit for people to put PC tips and tricks for others. Some people seem to think the only option for some PC problems is a reformat or system restore and in most cases both of these things are completely unnecessary.All of us have bits of computer knowledge that we could share with others and it would be handy to be able to browse that info.

We have one it is called Ethel.

Contrary to appearances Ethel doesn't know everything.She does seem to know an awful lot though!!!
Its just when browsing through the tech section here you see lots of posts where people have advised a system restore or reformat for something like a keyboard not working.If people actually take that advice they could mess up their whole system resulting in a hefty repair charge for them.

I agree. I was horrified to read that someone was advising a system restore when all they had done was displayed "my Documents" in fullscreen mode.
