I think the computer just calculates which is the category you've posted in most often rather than the one you look at most. So you would change it by putting hundreds of posts in Motoring.

this is on the new version answerbank??? Its chosen chatterbank for some reason and I have only used that once since its return!!

In my opinion it should be an option for a user to say what is their 'favourite' category, rather than auto-generate the one most used.

I find it quite amusing that some people claim to be an expert in lets say 'the weather' and it may even say that on their personal profile when in fact all they seem to do is chatteraway in lets say sports pub chat. lol ;-)

Only joking its just that i'v seen a few that have surprised me thats all... and to answer burnhal was the first place you posted in chatterbank when you opened up your new account? so to speak

Looks like you've posted mostly in Quizzes & Puzzles or Animals & Pets, burnhal....can't see many in Chatterbank, so drop an email to the techies to get it sorted. PS. At least you have an avatar, so be grateful ;-)

LOL - I thought Favourite Cat meant just that, my favourite cat...... miaow..... Mind you, I did scratch my head a bit because I'm not that fond of cats in the first place ! I much prefer birds...

Mine has always said ChatterBank, however thats ChatterBank Mark1. I was slightly worried when I signed uo to SAB and noticed that as my favourite category- thought AB was trying to tell me I was as redundant as said category!
