Looks like it's just me and DaSwede, but she's stuck in a cafe in Stockholm, whereas I'm at home surrounded by eager little avatars pleading for the honour of representing me, and I'm having to tell them it can't be done. that's the thing, gen2... I have tried posting on both sites. Posting on the beta version constantly gives me error messages and forces me to repost; posting everything twice gets me banned for overposting. So I post on the Classic AB site, as I am doing now. But when I do go on to my profile via the New AB, or Sports, I can't upload a picture at any time. Any ideas what I should do? I've answered all the uestions, tried just clicking on the default grey silhouette avatars etc; nothing happens.

- but it just gave an error message! so I cut it short and just posted the first bit of the message as part of the Q. Everything posts ok the second time but it means I'm overposting and get myself banned.

As for the avatar, I don't get an error message with that - it's just that nothing happens. Click on a picture in My Pictures, or just click on one of the default avatars they give, and click Submit, and it whirs for a minute or so but then no avatar appears. Very baffling, but I shall have to remain a Person of Mystery.

Hi jno, I got error messages all the time saying an error on line 18 I think, it was because I hadn't filled my date of birth in. Once I did that it attached OK. Are you on Firefox?

This site has been c**p for a while. Its so slow I could deliver by hand quicker! Do some people rely on AB that much? SO SO sad!!

I don't think I actually RELY on the site - its just a way to while away a bit of time till I can stir myself to do something more useful.....

That is true ..I can't do any links, pics ,in fact I could only do text in MSN with Firefox yet I am on Firefox with this and it has all worked OK .. well .....when the site is actually working which isn't too often lately !
We can'' t have Jno and Cetti wandering about it grey ....it doesn't suit them !
You would think the the Editor could come on line and explain .
