An 'ignore this poster' button.

It works on a lot of other sites. Once clicked, any posts by that individual do not appear on your screen, making their abuse fruitless.

Even some people with 50 names could be easily 'ignored'.

Just a thought, easy to implement.

The abusers can type anything they like, where, and whenever they like. The ones that choose not to read it, won't have to, everyone's happy.

You could even eradicate the rather useless report function from here. It's not like you do anything about reported questions, is it?

It's a good idea, but doesn't work for everybody. The psychology is such that the temptation to unblock someone just to see what you are missing can be overwhelming.

Also, the majority of people who get caught up in fights do so because they enjoy it, whether they will admit it or not!

I'm amazed at how well it works, since installing the plugin I haven't seen anything of certain members.

I seem to recall knobby saying exactly the same thing a few months ago bit you all poo pooed it.

Strange now when whiffey or one of his arse lickers (who are the worst offenders on here) suggest it you all seem to go very brown nosed yourselfs.

Well the individual lines are shorter, there are more of them but the gaps between them are smaller..............

On balance, I'm not sure I'm in favour of this new development but I'm willing to bet that won't matter.........
