limited posts perhaps?
144 Answers
right, i might get slaughtered for this suggestion and it is NOT aimed at anyone in particular but maybe there should be a limit on the amount of questions that any one poster posts within a 24 hour period.
Questions that were posted around 10ish last night have been pushed right back 4 pages, we have to wade through 3-4 pages of nonsense before we can see the latest, (proper) posts from the night before.
Im not having a dig at anyone but it is so bloody dull now. Surely im not the only one who is sick of it. I think its a shame that questions that are fun, or questions where genuine answers are required will go unnoticed because of this.

Thats why i told knobby i can understand but it gets to this stage because of how you react to it. I guess we could all end up arguing at the drop of a hat but you have to learn to let it wash over you or else it escalates to the prorportion that it has become now!
I'm probably guilty of replying to those posts. But it seriously annoys me now, after staying silent for so long. I've been coming on here for nearly 4 years, I've seen the good and the bad, but this is getting to be the worst time of all. When someone wants to think CB is theirs and everyone who disagrees with them is unwelcome and gets slagged off constantly, then I have to protest. I would do it in real life too, if I felt someone was victimizing someone else. It makes my blood boil because it spoils it for everyone else and lowers the tone so much.
No, actually there isn't Jules. Take last night. Nobody replied to a few of his posts, and nobody retaliated. It was just him, posting thread after thread trying to goad imaginary enemies into replying so he can slag them off. He has a vision of grandeur that unfortunately is well above his limited reach.
I know, I bet they couldn't even tell what started it. But if you look closely, it's not a widespread thing really, it's only one poster who thought he would take it upon himself to wage some sort of pathetic cruisade against people who disagree with him, thinking that everyone would follow. Illusions of grandeur, as I said.
i think often there is thoug max, ok so not last night which obviously prompted this question in the first place but i se it hppening all the time, or if knobby does a proper question there is someone not far behind goading. I really do think its swings and roundabouts with this one.
Anyway, back to the point in hand, maybe if there was some way of limiting the amount of questions, it might help! ahh who knows, like you, im just pi$$ed off with it now.
The answer is for this site to be regulated! and not by a member on here either. Seems like the ed is too busy to see whats going on here.
