Media &TV covers the categories Celebrity Gossip Films Radio Reality TV and TV. I suggest that they all should be incorporated into one category Media & TV. I have posted questions in Media & TV and they have been duplicated in TV and vice versa. Some very good posts get lost because not everyone uses the appropriate categories. Media should cover all aspects of the entertainment world. I think there would be more communication with the one category. Do you agree?

No, I do not agree.

I regularly peruse the TV, Radio and Film sections but have absolutely no interest in Celebrity Gossip or Reality TV.

Sub-categories were introduced as a measure to alleviate the need to wade through irrelevant posts to reach the subject of interest. Many ABusers properly post in the seperate sections; because some do not is perhaps not enough justification to lump everything together.

I am with kempie on that. I actually think it would make more sense to have the main category, but only be able to post in the relevant section of that category. For instance, the category Media, in which no post can be made, then the sub categories.
