Why do you bother with these Blogs?

You continuesly promise us that you're "on the ball" and sorting out the nastiness and aliases on here via your blogs, then we hear nothing from you for weeks and weeks, until we read another blog telling us exactly the same thing again!

The majority of us understand you've been ill (recovering well i hope?) but you're honestly telling us that no-one, i mean no-one was supposed to be editing the site whilst you were away? Seriously?

When you returned- we all expected the site to improve- afterall you said you'd fix it- it hasn't, if anything, it's worse.

I fully expect this thread to be pulled by you, or whoever, but I'm really saddened to see a site i like, and been loyal to for a few years degenerate into the laughing stock it's become. The site generates new users everyday- you're happy for them to see how some of the users abuse it, especially CB?

I could email you all this, however despite your further promises that you do respond to emails, I've yet to recieve even one email back from you regarding this issue- even though I've sent you at least 3 now.

I'm sure i'm not on my own in wanting to know that you do care about the site, afterall, it's what you're paid to do isn't it?

Ed. I totally agree with Boo. I have only been here a short while and have already noticed the downturn. It seems to me that no one out there in edit land gives a hoot about the family on here. I use many sites. Unfortunately, i may have to choose another site. My friends all rely on responses about sites we visit and i would hate to give this one a bad name. Please please deal with the garbage that is going on.

Absolutely Boo. I came back after a long absence and tbh the place is now a complete joke. CB was never that bad befoe the last time it was closed.I wouldn't veen mind if the fix's were hard to implement but theyre not, the structure of the site is just full of holes allowing people to f about with the even the look of the site and there's no form of control whatsoever by the people who are supposed to be in charge. Please get your act together.

Yes well said. I have only been using this site a short while but have noticed also. particularly the last few days. it becomes too frustrating to bother, whoch is unfortunate as I have been really enjoying these forums.

That's the frustrating thing, even the casual observer of the site can't fail to see how a minority are spoiling it for the majority. So you'd fully expect an Editor of the site, and the techies paid to do their job would bloody notice too? So why is nothing being done?

We can only assume that Ed & Co really dont care about the site and it's users. That's cool, I guess i can live with that- but please don't try and soft soap us every few weeks/ months with a blog stating otherwise!

I feel the same BOO. I wonder if anything will be done about the carnage showing on AB last night and this morning.
Don't think any company who advertises on this site would be too pleased with it.
I can see them all pulling out shortly if this continues. Those companies pay for this site to exist. Could be the end of AB.

Completely agree with everything you have put B00! This place is pathetic! Ruined by a small minority, it's no wonder hardly anyone posts in CB anymore.

Have people forgotten this is supposed to be a family website! Kids come on here (even more so now it's the summer hols) for crying out loud!
