Send prompt to...

Would it be possible to give someone posting a reply the option to send a prompt to someone else? For ex. see my posting "Editor Action" - IndieSinger has appended a reply to my posting but it is really meant for the Editor. Now, I know the Ed. scans the questions, but it is conceivable that someone might append a reply which should be seen by another user as well as the person who initiated the thread. So why not give an "answer poster" the option: send prompt to the following as well as the original poster?
