What about only allowing new registartion within the hours when the ed is around, and when the registartion is submitted, the ed checks the ID and user name, cos gravitate always uses a similar juvenile name and it woulsn;t be too hard to spot.

Or just ignore him. These internet trolls feed on our reaction, it gives them a reason to carry on posting. I've seen it on other websites where these idiots are ignored, eventually they get bored and move on

This might sound a little draconian;, but, not only ban the idiot but also the first person to post a response. As soon as somebody responds to his/her obnoxious post it seems that everyone wants to "have a go"................It'll never happen: just a thought.

A really good idea Dot. Perhaps registration between 9.00 and 10.00am only each day (That's when the Ed. seems to concentrate on this site (he said yesterday that he concentrates on moderation first thing)

No new registrations at weekends.

It is easy to say 'ignore them' and I agree with that, however, when a perfectly good post is taken over by a group of trolls and is then abandoned by the responsible posters, it is extremely difficult to ignore them.
