The Sports Answerbank is dead.

No one is using it. Many posters cannot even get on the site. The ones that can, do not like the format. It is defunct.

Yet you persist with it. You ignore calls for it to be returned to the main site.

Why not combine News and Sport (TV, Radio and newspapers already do), ditch the Current Affairs subsection (which no one uses) and rename it Sport.

Better still, kill off the politics subsection as well, and rename that Football.

Well it's not quite as easy as you make out, but as for right now the sports section has to stay where it is.

Our developers are working on the new Answerbank as we speak, so be patient and you'll find sports back where it belongs soon.

I do hope the new Answerbank will be properly beta tested this time.

You could launch the new Sports Section to coincide with the London Olympics.

oooh, ill omen there, Gromit, the Ed has very carefully not mentioned 2012, and there have been rumours that the Australian contractors currently building an iconic arch over the sports section are behind schedule and facing strike threats from Polish subcontractors.
