So do I. I think he's doing as fair a job as possible. He probably won't reply to all the "Why's so-and-so been banned" because he'd be forever swamped with such messages, but if the Aber who thinks his banning's unfair gets in touch with the Ed in person, explaining in a calm and lucid way why he thinks it's unfair, he's more liable to receive a "second hearing", so to speak.

Personally - I haven't noticed ONE, but I don't know what time you usually post on here. It's not an easy job, being editor of a site like this though, so if any criticisms can't be validated, it wouldn't go down very well.

As mentioned before - if you get banned, it is easy enough to re-register with another username. There are lots of ABers who admit to having more than one username on here.

Hi chappie - but they soon won't be able to, and I agree with that, because there've been too many trolls on this site. The Ed knows who they are, but sometimes, a name to fall back on's allowed, providing it's not for malicious purposes. It's these who're going to be wheedled out.

Well a lot of people seem to be fawning all over him and trying to keep in his good books. Personally I think the new Ed is full of his own self importance - why I don't know. Give someone a bit of authority over others and it goes to their head.

I now wait to get permanently removed.

Lottie i am quite bemused by it, it is obvious the ed thinks it is ok to post drivel and rubbish all year long with no valid contribution to any other category, get baqnned then return over and over again with green names and contionue to be abusive and disruptive.
But someone who has remained loyal to the site over a number of years and understands it's capabilities and potential with only the sites future at heart is pushed aside and bullied off the place simply for pushing for improvement

plus, those that moan about getting banned are the ones who IMO are unjustly banned or simply technically zapped.

banning people like Corby, or auto zapping zealous posters like mysel in no way has led to the stated improvements of this site and those bans should not be linked with the general editorial clean up programme
