How can I stop you sending an e-mail every time someone posts an answer to a question I've asked on AB? I realise it's part of your customer service but, in fact, I check the Answer Bank more regularly than I check my e-mail inbox! So usually by the time I look at my inbox, I've already got all the answers you're informing me about.
Thanks

I'm meeting with the Ed at 4o'clock to help with his blog. I'll bring it up with him then, hopefully the problem can be resolved.
when you call up the thread, there should be a panel top right that says 'Got an answer?' If you tick that, people can still add to the thread but you won't get any more emails.

Thanks jno for trying to help but, being a bit of a computer "numptie", I don't know the phrase "call up the thread".
I have looked for "Got a question?" in a little panel to the top right of the page my question and answers are on but cannot seem to see such a thing.
Any more suggestions , please? I'm sorry I'm testing your patience but, being a technophobe all my life, I have come late to the miacles of computer technology............... and it scares the wits out of me !!!
When you have opened the question you asked...that's calling up a thread :o)

So...you're sitting looking at this one right now (you couldn't read this otherwise), look a the top right of the page and see what JNO is talking about :o)
On each of your own questions there will be a box at the right hand side - Got an answer?

jno simply means open up your own threads - your questions
