Any chance something can be done to get pages to display in IE?

When I try the page just hangs trying to download adverts.

In Firefox, with ads blocked, pages download OK - mostly.

But the IE pages are still not displaying.

Looks like there are lot of people having problems, judging from the recent posts box - it's not usual for there to be so few posts at this time of day.

I think the basic problem is that this site is badly put together.

I have had terrible trouble this morning and finally gave up for about an hour - got sick of staring at a blank screen.

In Firefox I have these two add-ons:

Adblock Plus

and

Adblock Filterset.G Updater

This is the only site I have trouble navigating.

It can drive me nuts too craft, so I don't bother logging in as much as I used to.

AB seems faster already.
