Banned answers

I have had 2 answers banned, is there any way of finding out which they were?  Obvoiusly I cannot read them but if I knew which questions they were then I would hopefully remember my answers.

Just found them, one was for having a go at someone about the Marlboro quiz, btw I did give them the correct answer. 

 

The other was a bit strange because I gave more or less the same answer twice because I didn;t think the first one was sent. It was a joke answer, one was banned, one was not, surely this should not be down as a banned answer??

I'd like to know WHY some of my answers are banned when they're not insulting or rude

will I be able to find out ?? if yes-how?

Go into your profiles and use drop down menu.Click onto questions I have answered and then scroll through. The answers that have been banned are preceded by an orange banner. Takes a while but it's the only way.

The word "banned" is slightly unfair because "banned" actually means "deleted"; and answers may have been deleted for various reasons.  Accidentally duplicating (posting the same answer twice) is one reason.  Another example I have found is that I responded to a rude answer from someone else, and that person's answer was deleted; the eledtion of the rude answer would have left mine as the only answer to the question, so it made sense to delete mine as well.

As has been pointed out, 'banned' posts don't necessarily mean the post was abusive or rude... though, sadly, several posts a day are deleted for precisely those reasons...

AB ED, how about changing it to 'Deleted' it sounds kinder & covers a multitude of sins!
