Could the Ed please explain the rationale used to ban my response to the question about tattoos and piercings? I cannot see anything even vaguely controvertial about what I wrote. I'd be interested to know why my input has been deemed innapropriate. I'm not angry, just confused.

I am not an AB administrator but my guess would be that if your answer included medical information that you are not qualified to give, AB may have not wanted to post it so as to avoid lawsuits.  A good site to refer people to for reliable piercing information is www.safepiercing.org.

WaldoMcFroog, apologies for the delay -- and the non-answer. My coleague cannot recall the thread in question so I fear the reason has disappeared into the ether along with your answer.
ps. That's not supposed to sound flippant. We have set guidelines for moderation and banning. None of us here are perfect (but we do try to be.)
