Yes, I DO understand what you're saying - but I'm perplexed that you found out about this via a pop survey? How come no one else here'seen it?
I'm not disputing anything you say, but perhaps it's a lesson for anyone using social networking sites not to make things up - or better still, not to use them at all. I think there are many dangers with what technology can drum up, so that's why I use nothing but AB. I couldn't give a monkeys about what folk can see or what they can't, because I've given the details which are just facts, and it doesn't matter who sees them really. I'm sorry if this's upset you though. I take your point.

it should make you rethink your security on FB as you can set your settings so that only friends can find you and you are private stops others checking you out you can also ensure your friends list is not visible

i am just reliefed that some people are seeing what i am seeing so i know i havent got some virus or something because at first when everyone shouted at me and said it wasnt there i thought i had an infection or something on my computer

all i can say is i wont use my normal name or tell anyone until the list is gone. but maybe people made copies now so maybe i wont use it ever again :(
i will still use the site but i wont say who i was before and wont be as my old name as i dont feel safe and i hope that it helps others on the list or new people if AB-ED gets on to the case because its ruined my night a bit and ruined my enjoyment of answerbank but i will still use it as i like it here, i just sorry it wont be as the usual me anymore :(

You know IAW, it doesn't really matter if you DO post your usual user-name. No one's going to go mad at you - because what you've posted might be interesting to some. There was no need to have a go at Leggy though, because what he said is true - all his names are "Legend" ones, apart from the trolls who came on and adopted their own versions of his name. He has no reason to make any othere type up. Everyone knows his em addy, what he looks like, etc., and he doesn't try and hide the fact. Must say though - noknow's list made me grin!!!!

i guess pasta some people are private and dont want their email posted on here especialyy if their email has their real name. I understand as i wouldnt like personal info on me posted for all to see. think its best left for ed to answer to

if you put my email into facebook you see a picture of me. and can see pictures of other people on that list. I just dont want people to do anything like steal the picture or anything cos i am not sure what they can do. i am early 20 and single and live alone and dont want problems if they find ways to track me down from ip or emails or hack my msn account or whateva

some people dont mind people on here seeing pictures of them but i dont like it. just look at leggy reaction to me when i mentioned this. he was nasty and horrible and i dont know what he would do with a picture of me if he saved it from facebook. i could be on porn sites or anything and that is just wrong. not saying leggy would do it but his reaction tonite is why i dont want my personal details or pictures available to anyone that comes on answerbank. i dont feel safe :(

if that dont make sense or you think im paranoia then fair dues. but i know how i feel and would hate for anyone on here to find out people are stealing personal details from somewhere and doing nasty things with them. you wouldnt let your kids give out details to strange men would you?
