I think possibly what I experienced when I was 20/21 was akin to a broken heart, but then i have broken at least 3 mens hearts in my short life lol

I won't bore you with the story, because I've told it before, but in summary ...

I met Mr Right.

I mean ... Mr Totally Right ... the one where we were put on this planet for each other.

If you ever meet such a person, you both know it, the moment you meet.

He felt the same way.

He was already with somebody.

They had children.

I wasn't going to spoil that.

Heartbroken? Totally. Devastated.

But ... the right decision.

Healed? No. But I keep it to the back of my mind, mostly.

love is complicated enough, without a love triangle and children involved then that is when you measure your love for your partner against the love of your children.
must be a hard decision to make but for me no matter how much i love my man and i do , the love of my children is first and foremost every single time

JJ I get what you mean, if you both knew you were meant for each other though, how has he managed to carry on his life with a wife and kids, he must have gone on every day thinking he had not found what he could have, men can be so pathetic in that they make wrong decisions very early on for thew wrong reasons and only mature late, which is why there are so many men on their own

Yes....very badly. He had a complicated operation which was successful and he was very pleased with the result, but he left the country without settling my account.

not really......Ive been devastated and very upset, but dont think Ive had my heart broken......not to the point where you dont feel like going on.

Recently I have met up with my 'first love'...i apparently broke his heart and never even realised it... :-((
