Right,

Help everyone for the time being:

Avatars will be implemented over the next few weeks.

To see second, third or last pages currently you will have to edit the url in your browsers url bar, to see the second page of this:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Answerbank-Suggestions/Question804577.html

you should edit it so as to say:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Answerbank-Suggestions/Question804577-2.html

this should now take you to the second page.

The browser problems are being looked at currently as well as a simpler option as opposed to the above.

If you are having problems with your browser I suggest you use Chrome to view www.theanswerbank.co.uk - it seems to work the cleanest currently.

Thanks everyone for your feedback - keep it coming! The more we hear from you the better we can fix it!

Speak to you soon,

Spare Ed

Deja vu I'm afraid

Testing on all browsers and platforms is basic web design before launching a site

Did you do any testing (or is this the testing process)?

Can you run the two in tandem until all the bugs are out?
All power to you Ed.

You'll get it right in the end.

Ignore the moaners.

They are like my cat - they hate change
Ed,

When you press report this, you can see part of people profiles. Not sure that should be viewable.
Oh yes you can, it shows peoples real names!!! That's not on, we should have been advised about that!
Cos I've just read panic buttons real names, which i am sure he is not 100% happy about!!!!

and your name dot!
haha, you can report things for "pure stupidity!"

LOL

I'm with you Gromit, I can't believe the site was not tested on all browsers before being made live! that is web development 101, check it on all platforms!
I changed my name before, I'm Charlene now lol I think I'll change it again.
Ed, are you seriously suggesting that people use a browser that has about 2.5% of the market share for viewing this site??

Why not optimise it for opera, that only has 1.9% of market share, that will make it not work for even more people as that's what you are obviously aiming at.
And Chrome is only available for Windows. The are quite a few people who do not use a Microsoft OS.
don't mind me, I'm just checking that what HTML works..

italic
(bet that don't work)
