Morning All,

Dump your angry and helpful missives here please!

We're going to be clearing up the shop shortly, so let us know of any issues you have encountered. If you could also tell us what browser and browser version you are runing this would be helpful for the optimization issues.

Thanks for sticking with us guys,

Spare Ed. Any chance of a Post An answer button at the bottom of threads?

When the Latest Posts panel eventually includes answers too, can clicking on the latest please take us to the end of the thread, not the beginning?

Ta!
When will this thread http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/ChatterBank/Question805692.html and its author be removed?
Ahhh, ok Spare Ed, with you now i think ;-)

And good!

As for the site itself, it's taking some getting used to, but it's ok I guess (hey I'm northern ya know, we dont do praise)

And yes, as TCL says, get rid of that one ^

Oh, one last thing- not that ive attempted it yet, but exactly how do you make a post? I just see a title space and no question space? Am I missing something?
B00

unfortunately that is something that still has to be fixed. But if you log out, log back in and then click on a category, the Title box will appear. When you start typing your title the Question Box will appear.
Blimey A.Guest, that's a bit fiddly innit?

Hmmm think i'll wait till it's fixed before I submit any questions then. Is there a way to make the font in your answers any bigger too? I'm in danger of needing glasses if it gets any smaller.
Question Author
Hi B00, it should "drop out," when you click in the title space. Clear your Cache if you are having problems.

Hi TCL, we will be along shortly.

A.Guest, interesting idea to take people to the last page. Does anyone else second this?

Spare Ed
Unfortunately Ed, the drop out in the title window does not occur. This actually only does happen when you first sign in and choose a category. Try it now. Try opening a new post Ed.
Question Author
If it makes you feel better B00 it is unlikely to shrink - we will be sorting out a few "user interface" issues today we hope!

Spare Ed
I'm not sure what a cache is?

And no, nothing dropped when I clicked the title box. Like I said, it all sounds fliddly, will wait till it's all ironed out, it's not like I have a burning question to ask anyway ;-)

And thank goodness the font isn't getting smaller!

Ta for replying :-)
Cheers, thanks for that. I cleared ma cache but still not able to post a question I'm using Firefox by the way.
Hi Spare. I get thrown out and lose what I've written, same way pigletion describes. I'm on Firefox 3.0.5.

Miss preview and html formatting very much. Very. Much.

Text width and differing default font sizes still a pain in the somewhere I guess I would now not get asterisked for saying out loud, he he.

Yes I'll second A.Guest's suggestion about being taken to the last page. Also I'd like it if the latest post on a thread appeared on top, like on a blog. It wasn't that way on the old AB, but can we have it now please.

Colours are horrible, honestly, except for the very tasteful apricot on gray in the topics panel. How about a colour contest? That would be FUN!
TCL-Mumpling. It does seem there are conlicts between AB and IE or Firefox.

I am using Firefox and find noproblems in answering an already established thread. But if I need to make a new post,it isnecessary tolog out and log in again, then click on a category and type into the title window. The question box then appears. As B00 says, very fiddly, but hopefully only temporary.
Or rather I'd like it instead...
Done thinking:) If the posts on a thread appeared like on a blog, then the first page would BE the last page and no need to be taken to the last page through the Recent Posts box.
Question Author
swedeheart - I wonder if you are trying to confuse The AnswerBank users (and myself) even more? We might have to wait before we have any upheaval like that.

Spare Ed
Not trying to confuse you Spare, I'm too busy confusing myself :)
How about a colour design contest though?

OK, consider it launched:

The AnswerBank member who can offer me the best colour combination for AnswerBank (while keeping it in the same vein obviously) might recieve a prize!

Entries should be submitted on this thread please.

If you wanted to do it properly you should take a printcreen shot and paste into paint and then crop and change the colours. http://tinypic.com/r/2chnwbo/3 (hope that worked)

Let the games begin!
