Please would you tell us which of our answers have been reported and removed? I don't remember breaking any of the rules but 3 of mine have been removed lately. Several ABers spring to mind.

What do you mean when you say several ABers spring to mind?

As far as I'm aware if your answers are reported they go into a sin bin for the Ed to check. If he deems them suitable then he reinstates them.

That's how it use to work anyway.

That is how it works.

A reported question comes to us, we review it, take into account context (who is reporting? any hidden agenda here? Is there something we don't know) and then act upon it (either banning the post, banning the user or leaving it alone).

We do not explain to people why their post was removed unless I am in a particularly good or sarcastic mood.

It all depends on the context Dan....

You can't seriously expect to know who has reported you. You've been on here long enough to know that someone could get bullied off the site for reporting people.

If I report, which is rare, most of the time I will say I've reported. Sometimes I can't be arsed though.

I only have reported for advertising, not reported for comments as it is someone's opinion. Some though, are rude and offensive which says loads about the poster.

I think it depends if it's in jest or to abuse someone. There is a difference.

I have had 10 answers removed but there is nothing nor has there been anything in the reported box?? Anybody know why ?

well I've also had 10 answers removed, but assume that for whatever reason, someone found them offensive......I can live with that.....

When I say "several ABers spring to mind" I mean those who are particularly ignorant or stupid who ask for answers before the Colossus Puzzle Books go on sale. Subscribers receive them over a week earlier.
They are called yesterday, sewingbox, kellee and jubo but there are many others who I'm now tempted to report for being greedy and who object if I call it cheating which at that stage it is.
I have my fingers crossed that it isn't squarebear. I would be upset if it is.

Hmmm Yes, McT, But how many answers has she given out to others and how many answers was she given on here. I've got a record of the lot in subscribed questions!
